December 14, 2004

The City of Blythe, California in late November voted to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with the Colorado River Indian Tribes to negotiate an agreement to construct a new gaming facility in or near the community. The Blythe City Council voted unanimously to approve the MOU, paving the way for CRIT's second gaming facility. The BlueWater Resort and Casino in Parker is currently the Tribes' only gaming location. The Blythe agreement would also require the approval of the State of California.
