(928) 662-4311 CRIT Head Start is committed to offering a program that provides and embraces a vision of health and wellness for children and families. Our goal is to ensure that through collaboration among families, staff and health professionals that every child's health and developmental concerns will be identified. Community children and families are linked to an ongoing source of continuous and accessible care to meet their basic health needs. We offer education, health, nutrition, mental health, transportation, and special needs services to children ages 3 - 4 living on the Colorado River Indian Tribes Reservation. CRIT Head Start is currently accepting applications for the 2014-2015 program year. A child must be between ages 3 to 4 by August 31, 2014. Enrollment packets may be picked up at the Head Start center, located at 18026 Mohave Road in the Parker Valley. If you are unable to come to the center, a packet can be mailed to you by calling the number provided above. Parent/Guardians must have the child's birth certificate, immunization record and proof of income (W-2, 2009 Tax return, TANF statement, current month check stubs). Beginning February 1, 2014 we will begin accepting applications for the 2014-2015 program year. All children must have a health screening, Tuberculosis Test (TB), and a Blood Lead Level to complete their application for the program.
